Indoor Youth League (U11-U19)

U11, U13, U15, U17, U19 - Central Alberta Youth Soccer League

Registration Deadline: September 22, 2019

We will be offering a travel league for U11-U19 teams through the Central Alberta Youth Soccer League. Since we do not currently have an indoor soccer facility in Wetaskiwin that can accommodate league games, all games will take place in either Camrose or Red Deer. (We are working on several projects to get a 'home' fieldhouse in Wetaskiwin in the future! If you'd like to help, please contact Alison -

Fee: $300
Financial assistance is available through JumpStart & KidSport.
We are also looking into sales-based fundraising to assist with registration costs. If you would be interested in selling items from DFS Canada, please contact Alison for more info -

Ages of play:
U11 (Born 2009-2010)
U13 (Born 2007-2008)
U15 (Born 2005-2006)
U17 (Born 2003-2004)
U19 (Born 2001-2002)

Days of play:
League games will be Saturdays in Camrose or Red Deer.
Practices on turf will be Sundays/Mondays at the Drill Hall (split evenly between age groups)

Practices in gymnasiums: (subject to change)
U11 - Wednesdays 6-7pm Sacred Heart School
U13 - Wednesdays 6-7:30pm Clear Vista School
U15 - Tuesdays 6:30-8pm Clear Vista School
U17 - Thursdays 6:30-8pm Clear Vista School

Season length:
The official season will run from October 26, 2019 to March 1, 2020, but practices will begin in September/October. Your coach will contact you with more information.

Other info:

There will be two different facilities used for indoor soccer:
1. Boarded (Camrose, Red Deer Colicutt) - The style of play is 6v6 including keeper, and rules are very similar to hockey. Indoor Soccer 6v6 Rule Book
2. Non-boarded (Red Deer Westerner) - The style of play is 7v7 including keeper, and rules follow those of outdoor soccer. Indoor Soccer 7v7 Rule Book

Since the style of play is smaller-sided, our team sizes will be smaller for indoor at 10-13 players per team. Registration will be first-come-first-serve, with no try-outs. Once we reach the maximum number of registrants in a division, players will be placed on a wait-list until we have enough to build a second team in that division.

Coaching Team:
In order for this program to succeed, we will need the help of some supportive parents willing to volunteer with our coaching team (two coaches per age group, and one program manager). Please follow the link at the bottom of the page and register as Staff if you are able to help! If you have any questions, please contact Alison -

We are using Teamsnap for registrations this year! If you do not have a Teamsnap account, you will need to create one using your email address. Click here to register. If you have any problems, please email Christie -
